What each one is
An SMM panel like YTBoost delivers specific numbers to a public link: subscribers, views, likes, comments, live viewers. You pay per 1,000 and see the count change.
YouTube Promote (in Studio) runs your video as an ad to people YouTube chooses based on your goal. You set a daily budget in rupees and YouTube optimises for views, subscribers or website visits.
Side by side
| SMM panel | YouTube Promote | |

| Real viewers | No | Yes |
| Cost | Low per number | Higher per result |
| Control | Exact quantity | Budget and goal |
| Subscribers/likes/comments | Yes | Indirectly only |
| Policy risk | Yes | No |
Choose Promote when
You want real people to watch and possibly subscribe, you have a good video worth showing, and you're happy to pay ad prices.
Choose a panel when
You need the channel to look established quickly, you need a type of engagement Promote doesn't deliver (live viewers, comments), or your budget is small. Read the risk note.
Use both
Promote your best video to real viewers; use small panel orders so the channel they land on doesn't look empty.
Worked example: a new cooking channel
A Chennai cook launches with five recipe videos. Running Promote at ₹300 a day brings real Tamil-speaking viewers to her best video, and some subscribe. But the channel page still shows 18 subscribers, which puts off some of those visitors. She adds 250 Indian subscribers from a panel so the channel looks started, and keeps Promote running on her best recipe. The ad brings the audience; the panel order improves the first impression.
Worked example: a gaming stream
A streamer wants a higher live count during weekend streams. Promote can't deliver concurrent live viewers on demand. A panel can: 100 live viewers for 60 minutes, ordered once the stream is live.
Questions to decide
- Do you need real people or a number? Real people — Promote. A number — panel.
- Is it a type of engagement Promote doesn't sell? Live viewers, comments, likes on a specific video — panel.
- Is your video good enough to advertise? If people who see the ad skip after 5 seconds, Promote will cost a lot for little.
Budgets
Promote's minimum daily budgets are low enough for small Indian creators to test. Panel orders start at our ₹100 minimum top-up. Many creators try both for a month and keep whatever moved the numbers that matter to them.
