What polls are good for
Polls are the easiest engagement on YouTube: one tap, no typing. That's why they're the best community-post format for small channels. "Next video: (1) BGMI sensitivity guide (2) best budget phone for BGMI (3) my setup tour" gives you a real signal about what to make and gives subscribers a reason to come back.
But a poll with 7 votes looks abandoned, and people don't like voting in an empty room. A base of votes makes the poll look active, which nudges real subscribers to add theirs.
The option
- Price: from ₹17,227.48 per 1,000.
- Minimum: 10.
- Speed: about 100/day.
- Examples: 100 votes cost ₹1,749; 500 cost ₹8,699.
Making a poll look natural
Real polls are rarely 100% one answer. If your subscribers are likely to split, mirror that:
| Answer | Order |
|---|---|
| 1. BGMI sensitivity guide | 220 votes |
| 2. Budget phone for BGMI | 140 votes |
| 3. Setup tour | 60 votes |
Three small orders like this look like a real community. One order of 1,000 votes on answer 1 looks like what it is.
Poll ideas for Indian channels
- Education: "Which chapter should I cover before boards?"
- Cooking: "Next recipe: Hyderabadi biryani or Lucknowi biryani?"
- Tech: "Which phone should I review next under ₹20,000?"
- Devotional: "Which bhajan should I sing on this Ekadashi live?"
- Gaming: "Should I stream BGMI or Free Fire this Sunday?"
Writing a poll people want to answer
- Two to four options. Five is allowed, but polls with fewer choices get more votes.
- Short options. "Hyderabadi" beats "Hyderabadi dum biryani with the secret masala".
- A real decision. "Which video next?" works; "Do you like my channel?" doesn't.
- An image of the options when possible — thumbnails of the two phones, photos of the two dishes.
- A deadline in the text: "Result Sunday raat ko".
Polls written this way get more real votes, and a modest bought base on top of them blends in naturally.
Total votes vs subscribers
Viewers see total votes under a poll. As a rough guide, active channels get poll votes equal to 2–8% of subscribers. A 10,000-subscriber channel with 400 votes looks lively; with 9,000 votes it looks bought.
How to order
- Post the poll from your Posts tab.
- Copy the post link and paste it above.
- Enter the answer number (1 = first option).
- Choose how many votes and pay from your wallet or with UPI.
- Repeat for other answers if you want a split result.
Polls as research for your next video
The most useful thing a poll gives a small channel isn't engagement — it's direction. If 60% of real voters pick "budget phone review" over "setup tour", that's a cheap signal about what will get watched. Keep that signal clean: place your bought votes roughly in line with how you expect the real votes to split, or only use them on polls where you don't need the answer.
Afterwards
Reply in the comments with what you'll do based on the result — and then do it. The loop of asking, listening and delivering is what makes community posts work; votes just help the first few polls get started.
When a poll doesn't need votes
If your channel already gets a few hundred real votes on polls, leave them alone. Organic poll results are useful data about what your audience actually wants — buying votes on top only blurs that signal. Poll votes make most sense on channels that are just starting to use posts, or on a poll you're sharing outside YouTube where first impressions matter.
